Chapter 6 A Lost Mind. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ukyo looked around her restaurant calling out her lover's name. "Ryoga? Ryoga?" She called out. She sighed. "Where did he go?" She asked. Ragi and Washi were in her restaurant eating an okonomiyaki. Ragi shrugged. "Miss Kunoji… did you tried looking in the back of the restaurant?" Ragi asked. Ukyo shook her head. "I never did try that," She asked. "Or maybe… he was abducted by aliens and the next time you'll see him, he'll have these evil eyes and will take over the world! AHAHAHAHA!" Washi said as he laughed with a maniac twist. Ragi rolled her eyes. "I thought I burned all his comic books," she said. Washi looked at his twin. "At least you thought…I have doubles and I'll read them over and over and over and over-," "Like the energizer bunny?" Ukyo asked. Washi nodded. "Yeah, like the energizer bunny," he said. Ragi burst out laughing. "Oh gee, it's time to close the restaurant and for you two to go home," Ukyo said as she looked at her watch. Ragi and Washi nodded. They stood up and waved to Ukyo. As they left, Ukyo went to the back of the restaurant and yawned. She felt tired. "Ryoga's lost again. It won't be fun to sleep alone," Ukyo said. She went to her room and jumped into her bed. She yawned again. "I never knew work could get so tiring," She said. She looked up at the ceiling as she heard a familiar voice. "Where is Ucchan's Restaurant?" With that voice, Ukyo perked up and opened the back door. Sure enough, there was Ryoga asking no one in particular. Ukyo smiled. "Ryoga! Yuhu!" She waved. Ryoga turned around and stared at Ukyo. "Ukyo? What are you doing in Illinois?" he asked. Ukyo rolled her eyes. "Does this look like Mexico to you?" Ukyo asked. "It's United Stated," Ryoga corrected. Ukyo face faulted. "Never mind. This is Japan," Ukyo said. Ryoga blushed in embarrassment. "It is? Gomen," he said. Ukyo sighed. "Well, at least you're here. Come in, you'll catch your death of cold," She smiled as she motioned Ryoga in. Ryoga went inside with Ukyo. He gave Ukyo a souvenir and sat down on a chair. "So, how are you?" he asked. Ukyo smiled. "Well, after three days since you disappeared," Her smiled turned upside down, "It's been living hell," she said. Ryoga nodded a bit. "No wonder. You don't look so good," Ryoga stood up and felt Ukyo's forehead. "Ryoga, I'm fine," she said. Ryoga shook his head. "You're burning up," he said. Ukyo smiled. "I know you care about me but really, I'm fine," Ukyo sat down on her bed. Ryoga sat down beside her. He gently put Ukyo's hand between his two hands. He looked into Ukyo's eyes. "Ukyo, it'll be best if you lay and go to sleep now," Ryoga said. Ukyo looked in the concern of his eyes and she nodded. "Okay," she said. Ryoga stood up and sat down on a chair. Ukyo laid the covers over herself and looked at Ryoga. "Ryoga?" she asked. "Hm?" he asked. "Ain't ya going to sleep?" she asked. Ryoga smiled and shook his head slowly "No, it's just fine. I can't sleep anyway," he said. Ukyo smiled. "Okay. Come to bed when you are tired," she said. Ryoga looked at her with a smile as Ukyo drifted into sleep dream. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Akane sneaked into Ranma and Genma's room. Akane knelt down beside Ranma and shook him gently. "Ranma," she called quietly. Ranma blinked a couple times. He sighed and looked at a digital clock that was on the dresser. "Akane, it's one o'clock in the morning," he said as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. Akane sighed. "Ranma, could you come with me?" Akane asked. Ranma stared at her. "What is it?" he asked. Akane gave out a smile. She dragged Ranma out from his room to the rooftops. They both sat down. Ranma smiled. "What's this for?" he asked. "I needed someone to see the stars with me," Akane said. "Fine with me," Ranma said as he stared into the dark sky. So did Akane. "Check that out, the little dipper," Akane said. Ranma looked at it. "Spiffy," he said. He pointed to the sky. "I think I found Mars," he said. Akane giggled. "Ranma?" She asked. Ranma looked at her. "Yeah?" he said. Akane looked at him. "Could I ask you something?" "Shoot," "It's about the future," "What about it?" "I was talking to Mea yesterday at school," "Oh… you were talking to the fortune teller. Continue," "Anyway, I was talking to her and she said this," "Yeah?" "She said that you and I," "Were to be wed within a one week period?" "No, in less than a year," "Spiffy," "Ukyo also," "Spiffy," "Nabiki," "Spiffy," "And Shampoo," "How did she get Shampoo's fortune?" "After school," "Oh," They both looked up at the sky. "Hey Ranma, check this out," Akane pointed up to the sky as the two saw stars making a heart. Ranma smiled and looked at Akane. "That one is pretty spiffy," "Is that all you can say? Spiffy?" Akane asked. Ranma shrugged. "Can I help it?" "Maybe not," Akane looked at her fiancee. Ranma looked at the sky. "Hey check that one out," Ranma pointed as they saw a constellation. Akane smiled. "That's pretty spiffy," She said. Ranma looked at her with a smile. "Look who's saying spiffy," he said. Akane raised her eyebrows. "Is it against the law for me to say that word?" "Nope," Ranma said. Ranma stood up and stretched for a bit. Akane did the same. She looked at Ranma with a smile. "I'm impressed. It's pretty chilly outside and you're here with your boxers still on. Ain't ya cold a bit?" Akane asked. Ranma smiled. "Maybe a little. What about you? Ain't ya cold?" Ranma asked. Akane nodded. "Yeah. Not that much," She said. Ranma went over to her and hugged her. Akane smiled. "Better?" Ranma asked. Akane nodded. "Arigatou," She said softly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ryoga stared at Ukyo with a smile. *Boy, she looks so kawaii!* he smiled some more. It disappeared when he saw a red light glow above Ukyo's head. Ukyo flinched. "Arg! Gnnk! AH!" She cried. Ryoga ran up to her. "Ukyo?" he called. She didn't wake up. The red light then saw Ryoga and went inside Ukyo's head. Ryoga gasped and attempted to wake Ukyo again. "Ukyo? Ukyo?" He called again. He put a hand on Ukyo's shoulder and shook her gently. "Ukyo? Hello? Ukyo?" He called again a little louder. The red glow came out and grabbed Ryoga's hand. Ryoga looked at it. "Who are you?" he asked with anger as he tried to free his hand. "I am the Nightmare," The red glow said in a deep, dark, chilly voice. "Let go!" Ryoga cried. Before he knew it, he was pulled into Ukyo's head while shrinking. His last call for Ukyo woke her up. Ukyo sat up and looked around sweating. "Ryoga? Where did he go this time. Without saying good-bye?" She felt her head throbbing. She grabbed it with both her hands. "I think Ryoga was right about the fever. I'm having a major headache. Maybe he went to get Dr. Tofu or something," She said to herself. She then went back to sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The next morning, Shampoo was surprise to see Ranma and Akane in her restaurant. "Nihao," she greeted. Ranma and Akane sat down. Mousse came out of the kitchen and brought them some ramen. Mousse and Shampoo sat down with Ranma and Akane. "How come you're not at Ucchan's?" Mousse asked. "The sign said it was closed and the we both knocked o the back door. Ukyo answered it and told us she wasn't feeling well and is not going to school today," Ranma said. "And Ryoga?" Shampoo asked. Ranma and Akane shrugged. "I guess he still hasn't found his way back. He's been gone for four days," Akane asked. Ranma sighed. "Oh well, I hope Ukyo feels better soon," Ranma said. Akane looked at the group. "Time out people. Ryoga may get lost but if someone that he cares about is in trouble, miraculously, he finds his way back, like Lassie," Akane said. Everyone stared at her. "This is coming from the same person that tied him up on the rooftop with a purple teltubbie," Mousse said. Akane ignored that. "Anyway, wouldn't he come back by now?" Akane asked. Everybody thought for a minute. "Nah," they all said in unison. Ranma looked at a clock on the wall. "Hoo! Look at the time, gotta get going. C'mon Akane," He stood up. Akane stared at him. "Since when did you want to go to school?" Akane asked as she stood up. "Since if we're late for school, we could say bye to our battle aura and I need that for after school," Ranma said. Akane nodded. "All right. See ya guys later," She ran out of the restaurant with Ranma. Shampoo and Mousse looked at each other and nodded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ukyo stared at the ceiling with a sigh. "Where is Ryoga?" she asked. She winced a little bit as she felt pain enclosed in her head. The migrating ache in her head is telling Ukyo WARNING! WARNING! HEAD TO BE EXPLODE! Ukyo held her head in pain. Once the pain stopped she started breathing intensely. "I got to see a doctor," she said. She heard a knock on the back door. "Who is it?" She called. "Shampoo and Mousse," Ukyo heard Shampoo. She got out of bed and opened the door. Sure enough, there was Shampoo and Mousse. Ukyo looked at them. "Hi Mousse," Then she glared at Shampoo, "Shampoo," Shampoo sighed. "This isn't the time to start," Mousse said hoping to stop a fight before it starts. "Well, come on in," Ukyo motioned them inside. As the two went inside, Ukyo shut the door and returned to bed. "Ranma told me that you weren't feeling well," Mousse said. Ukyo nodded. "Yeah. Ryoga returned last night and told me I was sick. I believed him after experiencing a couple of throbbing headaches that really hurt," Ukyo said. "Ryoga back?" Shampoo asked. Ukyo nodded. "Yeah. Can't you see his pack right there?" Ukyo pointed to the floor. Shampoo and Mousse nodded, " Well, he left in the middle of the night which was quite queer cause he didn't tell me anything and he didn't bring his pack," Ukyo said. Shampoo and Mousse stared at Ukyo. Shampoo sat down on a chair and Mousse sat down on a desk. "Well what was the last thing he said to you?" Mousse asked. Ukyo looked at him. "Well, he said, 'Ukyo!' Does that count?" She asked. "What time?" Shampoo asked. "Do you think I look at the time in the middle of the night?" Ukyo asked. "Well, don't worry. Until Ryoga comes back, we'll take care of ya," Mousse said. Ukyo smiled. "Thanks guys. I really appreciate it," Ukyo said. "First thing first. Take temperature," Shampoo said as she popped a thermometer into Ukyo's mouth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ragi was at her desk and looked at Ranma and Akane. Akane was taking some notes about the lesson of the day while Ranma… you guess if he is taking notes or not. Ragi then looked at Washi. *Pathetic!* She stared at Washi who was staring at a girl he had a crush on ever since his first day. "Ragi Saotome. Answer please," Ragi looked at Miss Hinako who was now a little five year old or whatever. Ragi looked at her notes. Blank. Then at the board. Zilch. Then at the teacher. "Uh…the spleen?" She shrugged. Miss Hinako smiled. "Very good," She said and she continued her lecture. Ragi gave out a big sigh. *The spleen. Inside the body. Spiffy. What the hell am I saying.* Ragi started fiddling with a pencil. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Somewhere inside the human brain… "ITTAI KOKO WA DOKO RAN ZA!" A yell of Ryoga cried. Ryoga looked around inside Ukyo's brain. He started walking around and sighed. "This is definitely not good," Ryoga said. He then approached a door. He stared at it with confusion. He saw a sign that was above it saying: Dream Door. Ryoga smiled. "Always wanted to know what was in her dreams," Ryoga opened the door and entered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Repeat that again, Tachi," Nabiki said as she was eating lunch with Kuno behind some bushes just to get away from Saku. Kuno nodded. "There is a certain class of a red fairy which convey peers into other people's head," Kuno said. "So what you're saying that there is some kind of stupid red Tinkerbell that sends people into other people's mind… am I right?" Nabiki asked as she gave Kuno a rice cake from her lunch box. Kuno accepted the food and took a bite out of it. "(chew) Positive. I perceived it (swallow) in today's newspaper," Kuno said as he offered Nabiki some sushi. Nabiki took her chopsticks. She took some and ate it and then nodded. "Has it ever happened to anybody?" Nabiki asked. "A bundle," "How do the fairies come out?" "The victim most show true love to the one in the brain," "So then the people who are sucked into the brain are the true loves of the victim," "Affirmative," "Gee, that sounds like something Ranma and Akane would do," ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "…And then he said 'So are you going after school?' and I said 'Sure. As long as you like," Ragi was sitting with some of her friends eating lunch. Ragi set her chopsticks down. "That's nothing. You know that one guy that is in our Math class?" She said as she looked at one of her friends. The friend nodded. "You mean Gahai?" The friend said. The group stared at Ragi. "That guy? He is such a Hottie!" said another one of her friends. Ragi nodded. "I know. Well, he picked up my pencil and asked me to walk with him to his next class," Ragi said. The group stared at her some more. "No way!" Said one of her friends. Ragi nodded. "Yes way!" she said. "Ranma Saotome, I have something to tell you," Ragi heard someone and turned her head. "Mr. Mousse?" She said out loud. "You should listen to this," Mousse said. Ragi threw a mallet at him. "WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO A TREE!" Ragi said. Mousse put down a pair of glasses and looked behind him. Then at the tree. "You're not Ranma," he said. Ragi then dragged him over to where Ranma, Akane, and Washi were. She then sat down. "I found a duck. Can I keep him?" Ragi asked with sarcasm. "Funny, funny, ha, ha," Mousse said. Ranma looked at him. "Hey Mousse, where's your contacts?" Ranma asked. "I didn't have time to put it on this morning," He said. Then with a blink of the eye, he was able to put on his contacts. Washi blinked a couple times. "Didn't have time? That is hard to believe," Washi said. Mousse ignored that and started talking to Ranma. "Well anyway, Ukyo is sick today," Mousse said. "Did we need to know that?" Akane asked. "Yeah because Ryoga still isn't here," Mousse said. "He really is lost," Ragi said. "I ain't finished. Ryoga isn't lost. He was here last night," Mousse said. "He was?" Akane asked. "Okay, let me start from the beginning that Ukyo told me," Mousse said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Thanks Shampoo," Ukyo said. Shampoo nodded. "Is okay," Shampoo said. Ukyo smiled at her. "I guess Ryoga and Mousse were right. We could be friends sometimes," Ukyo said. Shampoo shrugged. "Sometimes, but no all time," Shampoo said as she gave Ukyo a glass of orange juice. Ukyo took the orange juice and drank it. She sighed once she was done with it. Shampoo looked at her. "What wrong?" She asked. Ukyo looked at her bed sheets. "Well, I was just wondering where the hell Ryoga is," Ukyo said. "I sure he turn up soon," Shampoo assured her. Ukyo smiled at Shampoo. "Shampoo…thank you bunches," Ukyo said. Shampoo smiled. "Welcome. I hope you feel better," Shampoo said. Ukyo stared at her. "Shampoo, your English is getting better," Ukyo said. Shampoo nodded. "I try," Shampoo said. Ukyo sat up on her bed cross legged. "Repeat after me, 'I am Shampoo, the chinese bimbo," Ukyo said. "I am Shampoo, the chinese bim-," Shampoo stared at Ukyo. Ukyo smirked. "Finish the sentence Shampoo," Ukyo said. Shampoo took a pillow from Ukyo's bed and threw it at her. Ukyo got the hit and was on her back laughing. She then stood up and threw a pillow at Shampoo. Shampoo now has a pillow on her face. Once it slid down Shampoo started laughing. She picked up the pillow. "You want play, you get play," Shampoo jumped onto the bed with her pillow. Ukyo smiled. "PILLOW FIGHT!" She called out. At that call, Ukyo's room, that was once clean, was now filled with feathers flying everywhere and to the ground. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ryoga looked around the room he entered. He raised an eyebrow and scratched his head. "Now I'm confused. This room is empty," He said. "That's because she's not sleeping, stupid," Ryoga turned around and saw a red glow behind him. He glared at it. "That ain't true. You can dream anyway, anyhow, anytime, any place," Ryoga said. The red fairy stopped glowing to show its true self. Ryoga stared at it with an eyebrow raised and blinked a couple times. He couldn't believe what was in front of him. He just couldn't! "Hi Ryoga Hibiki," The fairy said. "Tily? Tily Gabe?" Ryoga smiled. The girl fairy smiled. "It has been a long time," Tily said. Ryoga smiled and laugh. "Long time? We haven't seen each other since we were in the junior high!" Ryoga said. "Ryoga, why did you leave?" Tily asked. "Well, I had to deal the score with Ranma," Ryoga said. Tily looked at him. "Ranma Saotome? How was it? Did you win or loose?" Tily asked. Ryoga shrugged. "Well…that was the past. Now me and Ranma are best friends," Ryoga sat down on a bench. Tily sat next to him. "Best friends?" Tily asked. Ryoga cleared his throat. "Uh…besides you. So how have you been?" Ryoga asked. Tily looked down. "After I graduated from junior high, there was this guy. An old geezer. He thought I was somebody else and turned me into a fairy. The kind of fairies that bring people into other peoples mind," Tily said. Ryoga looked at her. "And why did you brought me into Ukyo's mind?" He asked. Tily looked at him and smiled. "Because I noticed how you and Ukyo are being along. So I brought you in since I was assigned into Ukyo's mind and I needed to talk to you," Tily said. Ryoga stood up. "Well, c'mon. I'll like to explore her mind," Ryoga said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mousse came in Ukyo's room and stared at Shampoo and Ukyo who just stared right back. The three blinked a couple of times. Mousse blew a feather up that was falling. He cleared his throat. "Well, am I interrupting anything?" Mousse said. Ukyo and Shampoo looked at each other and nodded. They then looked at Mousse. "GO!" They both said as they threw the pillow at Mousse. Mousse caught them both and smiled. "Well, you seem to be feeling better Ukyo," Mousse said. Ukyo nodded. "Lots!" She said as she nodded. She sat down on her bed and so did Shampoo. Mousse sat down on Ukyo's bed next to Shampoo. Ukyo looked at them. "You know what? I've been wondering. What do you guys want to be when you grow up?" Ukyo asked. "Shampoo be famous ramen chef," Shampoo said. "I like to be on her side," Mousse said. "You know what I like to be?" Ukyo said. Mousse and Shampoo looked at her with awe. "What? What do you want to be?" Mousse asked. Ukyo looked at the ground and smiled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I want to be…a bride," Ryoga heard a voice. He turned around. "Was that Ukyo?" He asked to himself out loud. Tily looked at him. "Ukyo, no. It was just the wind," Tily said. Ryoga glanced behind him one more time and continued to follow Tily. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "A bride?" Mousse said. Ukyo nodded with a smile on her face. "With who?" Shampoo asked. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ryoga Hibiki," Ryoga turned around and scratched his head. "There it goes again. I hear Ukyo. Is she in her own mind?" Ryoga asked. Tily shook her head. "No, that's impossible," Tily said. Ryoga shrugged. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Hoo boy! What a day! I can't believe I flunked that math test!" Ranma said. "As always," Akane said. Ranma, Akane, Ragi, and Washi were walking home from school. "So…Ranma always gets bad grades in math, ne?" Washi said. "Not just math," Akane said. Ragi started laughing. Ranma looked at Akane. "Well, thanks for humiliating me," Ranma said. They then saw Ucchan's in the distance. "Let's go and see how Miss Kuonji is feeling," Ragi suggested. The rest nodded and went over to the restaurant. The went through the back door. "Hey Ukyo, we came here to see if you were feeling…huh?" Ranma looked around and saw Ukyo, Shampoo, Mousse, Nabiki, and Kuno staring at them. Ranma and Akane looked at each other. Ragi and Washi looked at each other. Everyone looked at each other. "Is there something the matter" Akane asked. Everyone started laughing except Ranma, Akane, Ragi, and Washi. "Gomen, but we thought it was Ryoga," Nabiki said. Ragi went over to Ukyo's desk and sat down to read the newspaper that was on her desk. Ranma, Akane, and Washi went over to Ukyo's bed. Ukyo smiled. "Hi everyone," Ukyo greeted. Washi looked at the floor. "What happened here? Did you killed a lot of birds or what?" Washi said. Ukyo and Shampoo started snickering. Mousse smiled while trying to hold back his laughter. Washi looked at them, especially at Mousse. "Hey Mousse, your face is blue. Are you choking or something?" Washi said. Mousse then let out the laughter and soon Mousse, Shampoo, and Ukyo started laughing. Nabiki looked at Kuno. Kuno nodded. "The number is right here," he said. Ranma stared at him. "Straight English. And what number?" Ranma said. "We were both thinking about calling the psychiatrist," Nabiki said. Akane stared at her sister. "You are weird," She said. Ragi stood up and knocked the chair, that she was sitting in, down Everybody stared at her as Ragi turned to see everybody. She held the newspaper in front of her. "This newspaper tells all," she said. Washi stared at her. "Are you okay?" he asked. Ragi ignored that comment and continued. "This article about red fairies and the mind. I think I know where Mr. Hibiki is!" She said. Ukyo smiled. "Where is he?" She asked anxiously. Ragi looked at her. "He's in your head," she said. "And my heart too. Where is he?" Ukyo said. "He is really in your head!" Ragi said. Ukyo looked at her. "Are you telling the truth?" Ukyo asked. "Cross my heart, hope to die. Stick a needle in my eye. I feel pain, I tell truth. So help me God," Ragi raised her right hand as she said er oath. Ukyo looked at the newspaper. "Could I see this?" Ukyo said. Ragi handed her the newspaper. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ryoga sat down in some park bench as he entered Ukyo's dream. Tily sat down next to him. "Please tell me there is a way out of this," Ryoga said. Tily looked at him. She shook her head. "No there isn't. I'm sorry Ryoga," Tily said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "But you'll never see Ukyo ever again," Ukyo heard a voice in her head. The voice rang in her head in pain as the words endure in her head over and over. She clutched her head in pain. "Make the pain…stop!" She cried. The group ran to her side. "Miss Kuonji, are you okay?" Ragi said. Ukyo continued to clutch her head and scream in pain. Somehow, she hears Ryoga. "Ukyo, are you okay?" His voice goes into her head. Her head starts to relax. She lays down on her bed. "Ukyo, what was that?" Ranma asked. Ukyo looked at the ceiling. "Someone said that Ryoga would never see me again but for some reason, I hear him calling if I'm okay," Ukyo said. Ragi nodded her head. "Then I was right. Ryoga is really in her head. If I'm not mistaken, we should be here at midnight," Ragi said. "Then I guess midnight is when the fairy comes out to find more people," Washi said. "Precisely," Ragi said. Everybody nodded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Ukyo, are you all right?" He called out. He looked at Tily. Tily shook her head. "No, I don't know what caused it," Tily read Ryoga's mind. Ryoga put his hands in his pockets and started walking around in Ukyo's dream. He looked at the ground. "Tily, I really should get going," Ryoga turned to Tily. "But Ryoga, there is no way out of this!" Tily said. "There has to. If you can come in, then you can come out," Ryoga said. "Ryoga," Tily said. Ryoga turned around. "Thanks Tily, but I'll find my own way out," Ryoga started walking. Soon, his surroundings turn to a crimson red with black swirls. He looked around. Then at Tily. "Tily," Ryoga stuttered as he stared at her. Tily's eyes glowed with evil. "This is what happened to Ukyo when she gets nightmares," Tily said. She disappeared as she started laughing evilly. Ryoga sighed and turned around. He stared at what is beyond him. "Ukyo's…nightmare?" Ryoga said. He took a step forward and saw a knife being thrown at him. He screamed as he ducked. He ducked at the nick of time as the knife sliced the bow of his bandanna. Ryoga stared at his bandannas which were now on the ground. "Wow, that knife came as fast as a bullet," He picked up his bandannas and tied them back on his head as he stood up. Once that was done, he cracked his knuckles while looking ahead. He glared at it. "Time to turn this nightmare upside down," he said as he started to run down a dark, foggy road. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Akane, Ranma, and Nabiki went inside the kitchen and saw Kasumi playing with Kagami. Kasumi looked up. "Oh. Why hello. How was your day at school?" Kasumi asked as she put Kagami in a playpen that was still in the kitchen. Ranma went to get an apple while Nabiki and Akane leaned on the counter. "Well, I got an A on my math test, and an A on a science exam," Akane said. "Start bowing to the average one. I got a C on my history exam," Nabiki said. "A challenge after school tomorrow, a detention the day after that, and I aced the P.E," Ranma said as he joined Akane and Nabiki into leaning on the counter. Akane, Nabiki, and Kasumi stared at him. Ranma shrugged. "Average day," Ranma said as he took a bite out of his apple. Akane looked at her watch. "Great! I was suppose to meet a friend and now I'm five minutes late!" Akane said. She rushed out of the house leaving a trail of dust behind her. Ranma sighed. Nabiki looked at her watch. "Whoops! Gotta meet Tachi in two minutes," Nabiki said as she rushed out of the house leaving a trail of dust and wind behind her. Ranma sighed again. He finished his apple. Kasumi looked at the clock on the microwave. "Oh my, I have to see Dr. Piyo," Kasumi said as she rushed… walked out of the kitchen. Ranma stared at the empty kitchen, then at Kagami. He gulped. "Is there anybody in the house?" He called out. No answer. He stared at the baby. "What's the matter Ranma, afraid of the baby?" A voice came from behind. "That's not a baby. That's a monster…huh?" Ranma turned around to see Akane. "Yo," Akane greeted. Ranma blinked a couple times. "I thought you needed to go somewhere," Ranma said. Akane shook her head. "Hell no. I did that to remind Nabiki and Kasumi that they needed to go somewhere," Akane said. Ranma smiled. "Akane," He said. "Now what was that about thinking that my niece is a freak of nature?" Akane asked. Ranma's face expression turned into a surprised face. "Well, it's that…she is…that is …" Ranma stuttered. Then he had brainstorm. He did what any other anime character would do if they were in a situation like this.(*Cough* *Cough* *Ryoga* *Hint* *Cough* Cough*) He put his hand behind his head and started laughing. Akane took Kagami out of the playpen and held it up in front of Ranma. "Hold her," Akane asked. Ranma stopped laughing and stared at her. "You must be kidding me," Ranma said. Akane gave him 'The Look of Anything Goes Martial Arts to Make Your Fiancee do What You Say.' "Ranma," She said. Ranma sighed and nodded. "Fine, but it ain't my fault if I scream in pain," Ranma said. "The great martial artist is afraid of babies," Akane smiled. "And cats," Ranma said. Then he stared at Akane, "HEY!" "Rule number one, don't yell in the presence of babies," Akane said. "Oops," Ranma shut his mouth. Akane stared at him. "What about Ragi and Washi? In the future, they will
